What Can It Do?
Micro-Top is applied at 2–3 mm thickness over existing concrete, screed, tile, and even timber subfloor. This is the only coating category that doesn't meaningfully alter the building height — it preserves door fittings and threshold heights. After a 72-hour full cure, the surface opens to traffic. For retail conversions, this can mean weekend application and Monday opening.

Colour and Texture Possibilities
Bomanite Micro-Top comes in over 40 stock colour options, with custom colour production available. Surface texture can be left smooth-matte, lightly undulated, or with a pronounced hand-trowel texture depending on application technique. The wall-to-floor transition can carry the same material — the continuous surface effect that boutique stores and showrooms frequently request.

What Are Its Limits?
Micro-Top is not structural. Cracks in the substrate can mirror through to the surface over time — identifying movement joints in advance is critical. Outdoor use alone is not recommended; durability is limited without a UV-stable high-gloss sealer. Wet pool or spa environments require a moisture-resistant layered system.
