Exposed Aggregate Concrete is a decorative finish created by seeding natural aggregate — river pebbles, basalt, quartz or marble chips — into freshly poured concrete, then washing away the surface paste before it cures to reveal the stone beneath.

The Process
How It Works

Pour
Fresh concrete is poured and levelled on the prepared sub-base.

Seed
The chosen natural aggregate is broadcast evenly across the fresh concrete surface and embedded.
03
Expose
Once the concrete has partially set, the surface paste is washed away to reveal the embedded stone.
04
Cure & Seal
UV-resistant sealer is applied to lock in the natural colour and texture of the aggregate.
