Bomanite Türkiye — Colour Catalogue
Chemical Stain
Bomanite chemical stains react chemically with calcium carbonate and other minerals in the concrete to produce translucent, natural-looking colours. Results are inherently variegated — this is a desirable characteristic. Colour depends on substrate age, cement content and application method.

Rust Red
This colour is not recommended for exterior surfaces where moisture cannot be controlled.
How It Works
Chemical stains react with concrete rather than coating it. Colour penetrates deeply, like an aged patina. It cannot scratch or peel off the surface.
Result Variability
Final colour depends on substrate age, cement/aggregate ratio, moisture, polymers, fly ash, finishing technique and sealer selected. This variability is the defining aesthetic feature.
Surface Preparation
Hard-trowelled, dense or previously sealed surfaces must be mechanically ground before staining. Proper preparation directly affects colour absorption and uniformity.
Technical Notes
- 01Results are inherently variegated — this is a desirable design feature, not a defect.
- 02Sea Mist, Caribbean Blue, Olive: NOT suitable for exterior use where moisture is uncontrollable.
- 03Hard-trowelled or previously sealed surfaces must be mechanically prepared before application.
- 04Final colour depends on substrate age, curing method, concrete mix and application technique.
- 05A test panel on the actual substrate is strongly recommended before full application.
